Todoroki Falls

The Kaifu River flows with extraordinary clarity. At the upper reaches of the river, there is a waterfall that reverberates with the sound of water.
Todoroki waterfall, sometimes called “Karei”, is one of the top 100 waterfalls in Japan, and the largest in Shikoku. Also, with a drop of 58 meters, it is the tallest in Tokushima Prefecture.
The sound of the waterfall shakes the area with a majesty that can give you a chill even in summer.
Upstream from the main waterfall, there is a series of waterfalls of various sizes, including the Niju-no-taki and Yokomi-no-taki, each with its own unique aesthetic, and they are collectively called the 99 Todoroki Waterfalls.
